Who is responsible
Deckmoon (deckmoon.com) is run by Ludoraz. Contact: hello@deckmoon.com.
The short version
- You can use every reading and tool without an account.
- The questions and options you type stay in your browser. We do not receive or store them.
- We count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies.
- We do not currently show ads or use advertising cookies.
What stays on your device
Your card of the day is saved in your browser’s local storage until the end of the day, so it stays the same if you come back. Nothing about it is sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
If you choose a language with the language switcher, we store that choice in a small cookie called dm_lang for one year, so the site opens in your language next time. It contains only the language code. Until you choose, the start page picks a language from your country and browser settings, without storing anything.
Visitor statistics
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that runs on our own server, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, which tools are used, which country and type of device visitors come from, and which site referred them. Umami does not use cookies, does not build profiles and does not track you across other websites. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, Umami does not count your visit at all.
We also record anonymous events such as “a three-card reading was completed” or “a reading was shared”. These never include the text you typed.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
Like any website, our server records technical information about each request (such as the page requested, time, browser type and IP address) to keep the site secure and to detect attacks. IP addresses in our log reports are anonymised. Raw logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to its use and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not run accounts or store what you type, we usually hold no personal data that identifies you. To make a request, email hello@deckmoon.com.
Children
Deckmoon is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes
If we add accounts, new tools or new services, we will update this page before they go live and change the date at the top.
